Wine Wars
Monday 21st September marks the second Wine Wars at Arbutus, a new take on a wine dinner. Co-founder and owner Will Smith will challenge a fellow wine expert, Federic Grappe (the owner of Dynamic Vines) to a head-to-head wine pairing over a 4 course menu. The challenge, to uncover the best match to Chef Proprietor Anthony Demetre's menu.
To accompany each course Will and his challenger will select a wine, from which diners will chose their favourite/best/most appropriate match with only one winner.
For this event we focus on the east-central part of France, the Loire Valley. The 4 course menu and accompanying wines (plus an aperitif on arrival) are available for £85.00 per person plus 12.5% service.
The restaurant will change its usual layout and you will dine on communal tables of between 8 and 20 guests, enjoying a great food and wine experience.
It promises to be a fun evening of sensational food and interesting wine pairings.
